Bread & Barley Bash
Come join the Shire of Löghammar for a weekend of B’s on September 20-22, 2024 at Haraker’s bygdegård, Skultuna. Some information about the event site can be found here: https://haraker.se/
We aim for a relaxed weekend among friends; baking bread in a wood fired oven, making butter the medieval way, and using barley to brew a little beer in an as medieval way as we can.
The event has a cap of 60, and we estimate 25 can stay on site. On-site sleeping spots will go to the first 25 paid spots, all others will need to make their own arrangements for lodgings.
For those wanting an on-site sleeping spot: Shortly after you have registered, you will receive notice that you have an on-site spot and will need to make your payment for the event within 2 weeks of registration or the spot will need to go to the next person in line. For those who secure a spot on site, bring all you need to sleep on the floor of a ”bygdegård”.

Unfortunately, the site is not well equipped for handicapped persons. If you want to attend and have mobility issues, please contact us and we can discuss the specifics.

EVENT FEES
Whole weekend visitors (staying on-site or camping): 350 SEK
Whole weekend visitors (staying off-site): 250 SEK
Day visitors not staying for feast (lunch included): 100 SEK

Baking bread
In the wood fired oven on site bread will be baked, come join and practice the art of baking!
Churning Butter
By using an old fashioned wooden churn butter will be made!
Brewing Beer
By heating rocks to make the mash we will make beer!
